Elbert Otis Bennett, Jr., 69, of Longville, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Christus St. Patrick's Hospital. He was born to his late parents Elbert Sr. and Kathleen Bennett in DeQuincy, LA. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and loved being with his family and church family. He had a passion for driving trucks and spreading the word of God.

He is survived by his brother, Curtiss Bennett and wife Lisa of Longville, LA; one nephew, Adam Bennett and wife Rebecca and their son, Titus, of Sulphur; niece, Allison Anderson and...

Elbert Otis Bennett, Jr., 69, of Longville, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Christus St. Patrick's Hospital. He was born to his late parents Elbert Sr. and Kathleen Bennett in DeQuincy, LA. He is survived by his brother, Curtiss Bennett and wife Lisa of Longville, LA; one nephew, Adam Bennett and wife Rebecca and their son, Titus, of Sulphur; niece, Allison Anderson and husband Josh, and their sons, James and Ryan, of Monroe, and another niece, Emily Bennett of Lafayette.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 2:00pm at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Ragley on Hwy 12. Bro. Adrian Littlefield will officiate. Visitation will be at Calvary Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 5:00-9:00pm and will resume at the church on Thursday, from 11:00am until the time of the service.
